​
La finitura piano sega è frutto del semplice taglio del blocco su cui possono essere ancora presenti i segni degli utensili utilizzati per la segagione.

​
The sawn surface is the result of the simple cutting of the block on which the signs of the tools used for sawing can still be present.
Levigato a flex
​
Il piano levigato a flex è ottenuto mediante una lavorazione cosiddetta a secco, ovvero eseguita senza presenza di acqua. E’ caratterizzato da una varietà di microimpronte, frutto della grana del disco e della direzione impressa all’utensile dall’operatore.

Polished Flex
The flex surface is obtained through a dry finishing process of rubbing the surface with special discs that make it homogeneous and uniform.
The finish is characterized by a variety of microgrooves, resulting from the grain of the disk and the direction applied.
Fiammato
​
La fiammatura si ottiene mediante trattamento termico, con brusco riscaldamento e successivo raffreddamento che sgretolano la superficie per un minimo spessore creando una superficie rugosa e microspigolosa.
Questo tipo di lavorazione esalta la cromaticità del materiale mettendone in evidenza le caratteristiche tipiche, il colore grigio di fondo con le zone rosso brunastre e le venature bianche.

Flamed
​
The Flamed is obtained through a heat treatment: the abrupt warming and the immediate refrigeration of the Stone provokes a contained fracturing of the surface, that becomes wrinkled and rough-edged to the touch.
This type of processing enhances the chromaticity of the product, highlighting its typical characteristics.
Fiammato e spazzolato

Il fiammato e spazzolato è l’effetto del trattamento di spazzolatura successivo alla fiammatura.
Il risultato finale è una superficie a pronunciata buccia di arancia più morbida al tatto e meno spigolosa.
Cromaticamente vi è una leggera marcatura dei colori rispetto alla sola fiammatura.

Flamed and brushed
​
The flamed and brushed is the effect of the treatment after flaming. The result is an orange peel surface that is soft to the touch and less angular. Chromatically there is a slight accenting of the colors compared to the only flame.
Piani lucidi e bordi bocciardati
Bocciardato a mano
​
Il bocciardato a mano viene eseguito mediante uno speciale “martello”, cui viene applicato un tassello in acciaio con punte acuminate atte a scalfire la pietra. E’ una lavorazione tradizionale ove l’azione percussiva manuale dello scalpellino ne esprime l’abilità. L’effetto è una successione geometrica di puntinature.

Hand brush hammered
​
The bush hammered by hand is performed using a special hammer with a dowel pin applied. The effect is a geometric succession of dots.
It is a traditional process where the manual percussive action of the stonemason expresses its ability.
Rotobocciardato
​
Il rotobocciardato viene eseguito mediante una piastra rotante meccanica, dotata di punte acuminate. L’effetto è una puntinatura minuta e disordinata.

​

The effect is a minute and disordered pitting.

Lucido
​
La lucidatura si ottiene mediante il passaggio di una serie di mole fino ad ottenere un aspetto lucido a specchio.
Con tale finitura la superficie assume toni più carichi e scuri.

Polishing
Polishing is obtained by passing on the surface of decreasing grit wheels until a mirror-like translucent appearance is obtained.
The surface takes on darker and more charged tones.
Semilucido
​
La semilucidatura si ottiene mediante il passaggio di una serie di mole fino ad ottenere un aspetto traslucido opaco.
I toni si scuriscono.

Honed
​
The semi-polishing is obtained by passing a series of wheels until an opaque translucent appearance is obtained.
With the semi-polishing, the surface becomes darker and more charged.
Spazzolato
​
La spazzolatura è un trattamento della superficie che mediante l’uso di una o più spazzole conferisce una sensazione tattile a buccia d’arancia.
Con tale finitura la superficie tende a scurirsi.

Brushing
Brushing is achieved by using brushes that give the surface an orange-tactile texture sensation.
The more you brush, the more the surface tends to darken.
